Everything has a rhythm, and a sound. Just immersing yourself in the sound of the bird song can lift your spirits and touch your soul. Even in the hub bub of cities the bird song is everywhere. It resonates into the very fibers of our being and is an expression of pure joy. Just breathe it in.
Wow! I have finished one journal and am starting a new one. Interestingly enough it has a tree in the front and in my meditation this morning, I was brought into my heart chamber where I was sitting in the ring of trees where we were just camping in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan. My visit there was a nature retreat. To me the heart center represents the trees in many ways; the color of this chakra is green, the trees breath for the planet, which represents our lungs, also trees produce essential oils that are good for our respiration system.
I was remembering my meditation there about all the things trees do for us, and now we are having so many forest fires in the North, the whole of Saskatchewan is blanketed with smoke. I was reminded that these are fires of transmutation and transfiguration, next year there will be new growth and new beautiful trees to carry on their important work. Just being there trees provide so much, which is an example to us too, that just by BEing we provide so much, we don’t have to be DOing all the time.
In my meditation these are the insights that came to me:
Radiant life surrounds you, if you were deep into the forest where no-one was around all your senses would be heightened. Feel the energy from the trees.
Send love and gratitude to the trees for the oxygen they supply and for recycling the carbon dioxide that we breathe out. Feel their strength, they are deeply rooted into Mother Earth, and they stretch up towards the light of the sun
Tree act as a barrier from the elements, trees provide a shady canopy to give relief on a hot summer’s day.
Trees provide homes to many, the different species of birds, and insects, they also supply food to many creatures.
Their timber provides homes for many, if not the structure, then the roof timbers. They provide the paper on which you are writing. The trees provide unconditional love. Some of them even provide medicines and sugar. They produce fires to keep s warm and to cook on.
One of my loves is body mind analysis. I have worked on lots of people to help them release pain, it is amazing how intelligent our body is.
